Fujifilm released new mirroless camera the X-E3. (Fujifilm X-E3). This camera is successor to one of the Fujifilm’s middle-class flagship cameras, the X-E2 and X-E2S. Fujifilm X-E3 began to sell on the global market at the end of September 2017.
While in Indonesia, it began to sell in October 2017. As the latest version, Fujifilm brings some of their most important features on X-E3 camera. These are the features that should be considered for those of you who have a traveling hobby. What is interesting on X-E3 camera?
Sensor and Processor
Fujifilm X-E2 and X-E2S series are embed by X-Trans CMOS II and EXR Processor II sensors, on the X-E3, they installed an APS-C X-Trans III sensor coupled with X-Processor Pro image processor that was previously installed in the X-series Pro2, X-T2, and X-T20.
This camera will have 24.3 megapixel image quality with the ability to process images faster. These two pairs of sensors and processors can also drastically make the camera operate faster in some sectors. For example, a faster start time (around 0.4 seconds), a shorter shutter lag time (around 0.05 seconds), and reduce the pause time when taking photos (about 0.25 seconds).
This is the reason why the Fujifilm X-E3 can be relied upon in low lighting conditions. The ISO sensitivity range has been expanded to 100-51,200 (previously on X-E2S only ranged from 200-12,800). Another advantage is that users can still use RAW mode when shooting with any ISO sensitivity range on X-E3. While in previous versions, the mode was limited to JPEG when shooting above normal ISO.
In addition to using sensors and image processors that belongs to predecessor, Fujifilm also implements the features of the X-T10 and X-T20 on this camera, which is a full-auto panic switch. This feature is specifically designed for beginners who have not mastered photographic parameter techniques.
The operating method of this feature is Fujifilm X-E3 will automatically full-auto and replace each setting based on analysis of captured images. Even auto-captured images will look better than just the arrangement of someone who is just started to learn photography.

Touch screen Camera
This camera have touch screen feature. But, if you are a vlogger this info seems to be the most important. It should be noted that Fujifilm X-E3 does not have a flipped screen. So, this camera seems less suitable for a vlogger who want to always appear on-point in each video.
However, Fujifilm embed a touch screen on this camera. This touch screen can be used to set focus areas, touch AF, and touch shots. The existence of this touch screen makes Fujifilm removes the physical D-pad button and replace it with a tiny joystick. For some people, replacing this type of button requires a time-consuming adaptation.
Autofocus
The Fujifilm X-E3 has a hybrid AF system with a larger detection area, plus a larger single point too. At the moment the X-E3 has a single focus point of 325, much different from the previous series, with 49 points found in the central area using phase-detection AF pixels.
A single and continuous autofocus mode can be set on the front of the camera body and there is also a custom AF-C mode to increase focus tracking when recording video. Unfortunately, this camera cannot enter tracking sensitivity settings, speed or zone areas in the custom AF-C mode as can be done on X-T2 cameras.

By using a 24.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor and an X-Processor Pro Processor image processor, high resolution images can be recorded with striking sharpness and clarity due to the organic layout of the sensor and removal of the optical low-pass filter.
The sensor and processor combination also provides fast continuous shooting of up to 14 fps, extended sensitivity range up to ISO 51200, and the ability to record 4K / 30 UHD videos or Full HD 1080p / 60 videos.
In addition, when working with moving subjects, continuous autofocus performance has been optimized for better and more accurate subject tracking. As stated in Digital Camera World , this camera has smaller body.
